Union Street Taproom was born out of our love for craft beer and our desire to contribute to the revitalization of downtown Erwin. As passionate entrepreneurs with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, we—Michael and Tara Baker—dreamed of creating a gathering place for our community. When we found the perfect spot in downtown Erwin in 2018, we knew it was time to turn that dream into reality. Since then, we’ve become a favorite local hangout where both locals and Appalachian Trail hikers can come together.
